Alec Frieden, Resident in Counseling: Alec provides individual psychotherapy to adults and children of diverse backgrounds. Alec has inpatient experience working with adolescents with a dual diagnosis (substance abuse and mental health issues) and has worked with children, families, and couples in a local outpatient practice. Clinicians at The Healing Project specialize in trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, grief, anger management, mood disorders, autism, adoption issues, and crisis support. We offer marriage, family, co-parenting, and individual counseling to ages 5 and up. While all of our clinicians are culturally competent and trauma informed, they utilize variety of unique treatment approaches, including: Neurolingustic Processing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Eye Movement Integration, CSOTP, Certified Family and Individual Trauma work, and Certified Anxiety work.
