Description

The Middle Path at Barrier Island in Charleston: Comprehensive Care The Middle Path at Barrier Island in Charleston: Comprehensive Care

We deliver Integrated Group DBT Therapy sessions for Adults during daytime or nighttime slots, for emerging adults in the evenings, and a post-school initiative for Adolescents. Individuals in our care require guidance to sustain sobriety throughout their healing path. We provide a 'Substance-Free' Intensive Outpatient Program. Healthcare experts at Barrier Islands Psychiatry are on hand to administer mental health drugs, drug tests, and emotional support services. DBT effectively tackles trauma, commonly the core problem behind substance abuse. We instruct ways to achieve harmony in your thoughts, enabling you to lessen rigid 'either-or' thinking styles. We encourage participation in the 12-step program and meetings, though it remains secondary to our main therapy focus. Most of our participants are already versed in the 12-step method. Through DBT, we enhance your education. Looking for a fresh strategy to manage your thoughts rather than being overwhelmed by them?
