Mission

Comprehensive Outpatient Initiative (IOP)

Livingston Counseling Center provides thorough group therapy for adolescents and pre-teens, addressing issues like stress, anxiety, depression, self-confidence, anger management, and more. The group setting promotes rapid skill building beyond what individual weekly sessions offer, enabling young individuals to gain new mental health tools with peer encouragement. Our therapists employ a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to enhance coping skills in an enjoyable and interactive way.

Session Schedules and Timings

The group for pre-teens (ages 9-12) is held on Mondays and Wednesdays between 4-7 PM. Meanwhile, the group for teens (ages 13-18) takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 PM.

Throughout participation in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), individuals will develop various abilities, including communication, handling distress, managing emotions, digital wellness, fostering relationships, mindfulness practices, full acceptance, shifting negative thoughts, and enhancing self-worth.
