Springbrook's Residential Offerings for Autism

Our 68-bed residential autism program and 18-bed inpatient acute-assessment services are crafted to address the intricate behavioral and psychiatric requirements of individuals on the autism spectrum. Guidance comes from experienced therapists, psychologists, BCBAs, speech and occupational therapists, RBTs, special education instructors, and psychiatrists. Daily therapy groups employ visual aids on topics such as communication, social abilities, self-regulation, self-image, and coping techniques, all aimed at lowering anxiety to minimize behaviors. The autism services are segmented into specific tracks: programs for lower-functioning children, lower-functioning adolescents, moderate-to-higher-functioning children, and moderate-to-higher-functioning adolescents. These can serve residents from 5 to 21 years old and are covered by Medicaid, private insurance, TRICARE, and self-pay.
