Over the past 25 years, Center for Discovery has assisted numerous people in achieving recovery from eating disorders via our effective Real-Life Recovery strategy. Our offerings include specialized care for teens, adults, and gender affirmative and LGBTQIA+ inclusive groups through residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services, demonstrating positive outcomes within the first week. We are excited to provide the distinctive Stars & Stripes Program for those in the military and public service. Our therapeutic methods teach individuals how to effectively apply coping techniques for conditions like ARFID, binge eating disorder, anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, orthorexia nervosa, other eating-related issues, and co-occurring problems including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD. At CFD, success rates are impressive, as 86.3% of patients discharged at or above 90% of their target body weight sustain that weight afterward, with patients showing a 99.3% decrease in binge behaviors and 97.9% reduction in purge behaviors upon finishing the program.
