Outpatient Program Tailored for Professionals

Providence Treatment, with its experienced team and research-supported methods, recognizes the specific requirements of professionals addressing substance use disorders. We focus on the underlying factors linked to persistent addictive patterns, including potential triggers and contributors to the condition. Our specialists, including physicians and clinicians, are adept at evaluating, treating, and supporting professionals, particularly those in high-risk roles such as doctors, pilots, dentists, pharmacists, and nurses. Collectively, our staff has more than a century of expertise with oversight entities like Physician Health Programs, medical boards, dental and pharmacy boards, nursing organizations, and the FAA-HIMS Program, as well as workplace matters and advocacy. We offer each client a detailed assessment and a customized care strategy at the most suitable intensity, which could involve individual, group, couples, or family sessions. We also highlight the importance of spirituality in maintaining long-term recovery from substance dependencies.

Program for Sober Living Support

Providence Recovery House (PRH) is committed to providing sober living options for dedicated men and women in the early stages of their recovery journey, offering a nurturing and comfortable setting. Situated in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the house is conveniently located just a short five-minute walk from the commuter train or a pleasant walk to downtown Media, PA. The residence features a structured sober environment with thoughtfully designed components to aid residents in creating their own recovery strategies and fostering peer connections. We welcome individuals who are committed to pursuing a lasting program that helps them rebuild their professional paths, mend family ties, and achieve personal fulfillment. The staff at Providence House approaches each resident with dignity, politeness, and empathy for those in early recovery. The standard stay is a minimum of three months, with extensions possible following consultations with the clinical and house teams. Throughout this period, residents engage in daytime activities and return in the evening for reflection, meals, and 12-Step gatherings. We mandate that each resident secures a temporary sponsor and a home group during their time at PRH.
