At Nate’s Place, a Center for Wellness and Recovery, we deliver programs and support for vulnerable adolescents and emerging adults (ages 13-25) who face potential issues with substance use disorders, mental health difficulties, or are focused on achieving and sustaining sobriety and emotional balance in a secure and positive environment. Offerings feature regular individual Peer Recovery Coaching sessions, more than 20 beneficial leisure pursuits, Group Therapy and Learning sessions, and specialized AA/NA gatherings for youth. Nate's Place offers a protected, uplifting space akin to a community hub, promoting feelings of connection and acceptance to enable young individuals to pursue a consistent, alcohol- and drug-free existence. We provide preventive strategies, initial interventions, and follow-up care for attendees, along with guidance and resources for families. Currently, there are no charges, and we supply free transport services.

Support Services for Wellness and Recovery in Adolescents and Young Adults

We offer personalized Peer Support Recovery Coaching and Guidance for adolescents and young adults aged 13-25. Our services include: 1) Experienced Peer Support Mentors who draw from their own backgrounds to deliver training, serve as positive examples, and offer motivation to participants. 2) A variety of Wholesome Recreational Options at our facility, such as: a. Strength training and physical fitness, boxing instruction; b. Guitar classes, Indigenous drumming sessions; c. Mindfulness practices, yoga sessions; d. Creative arts workshops, therapeutic art; e. Table tennis, billiards, outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, surfing, basketball, and bean bag toss; f. Outdoor adventures including hiking and rock climbing. 3) Sessions for Group Counseling, Peer Support, and Educational Workshops; 4) Specialized AA/NA Groups for Younger Members; 5) Al-Anon Support for Caregivers.
