From 1985 onward, Impulse Treatment Center has focused on managing compulsive sexual behaviors (such as pursuing affairs, consuming pornography, or hiring sex workers) and betrayal trauma via outpatient therapies for individuals, groups, and couples. Our programs typically split into two main types: sessions with 6-8 male participants dealing with compulsive sexual behaviors, referred to as 'acting out' tendencies. The second type features 6-8 women who are partners of men showing these compulsive patterns. We are organizing an additional co-ed activity, centered on discussion and processing rather than pure support, involving both individuals with these behaviors and their impacted partners.
